Who I Help

Who I Help

I work with student-athletes ages 12–22 with mild-to-moderate disabilities — most often ADHD and anxiety, along with learning differences, Level 1 autism, dyspraxia, and executive-functioning challenges. Here’s how those show up on both sides of a kid’s life — and how I help.

  • ADHD

    In the classroom

Trouble turning work in on time, organizing a study schedule, and holding focus through long study sessions or standardized tests.

    In the sport

Difficulty remembering complex playbooks, zoning out during long huddles, or struggling to regulate emotions after a bad play.

    How I help

I build high-stimulation training schedules and break complex playbooks into digestible, actionable steps.

  • Learning Differences (Dyslexia, Dyscalculia)

    In the classroom

Reading-comprehension challenges, trouble tracking GPA and credit requirements for NCAA eligibility, and anxiety around timed tests.

    In the sport

Difficulty quickly reading written plays on a whiteboard or wristband, or calculating stats and tracking performance.

    How I help

I use multi-sensory techniques to help athletes master their sport's strategy.

  • Level 1 Autism Spectrum

    In the classroom

High intelligence, but possible struggles with group projects, communicating with teachers, or sudden schedule changes.

    In the sport

Sensitivity to loud gyms or bright lights, trouble reading a coach's subtle body language, or getting hyper-focused on a single mistake.

    How I help

I act as a communication bridge between the athlete and college recruiters — helping them showcase their intense dedication while managing sensory and social demands.

  • Dyspraxia / Developmental Coordination Disorder

    In the classroom

Slow handwriting, trouble organizing materials, or fatigue from navigating a large campus.

    In the sport

Challenges with fine motor skills, spatial awareness, or taking a little longer to master a new technique.

    How I help

I break physical skills into step-by-step progressions and build confidence — without the pressure of one-size-fits-all coaching.

  • Anxiety & Executive-Functioning

    In the classroom

Procrastination, test anxiety, and feeling overwhelmed by the college-application process.

    In the sport

“Choking” under pressure, performance anxiety in front of scouts, or struggling to balance a grueling practice schedule with homework.

    How I help

I teach time-management frameworks and mental-performance strategies that work equally well for final exams and championship games.
